The kids enjoyed playing in the snow on Friday afternoon.
On Saturday morning, this is what we found when we opened the door. I had shoveled at 10:30 on Friday night too.
After we shoveled some pathways, Maximus enjoyed himself.
We ended up with 35 inches of snow. The drifts are well over 4 feet in areas. Towns are still working on plowing roads. Most roads are only one lane if they are plowed at all.
These kids love playing in the snow.
Dave, on the other hand, does not love the snow. Especially when he has to shovel the roof. There were 5 foot drifts up there. It is supposed to rain today to add to the weight of the snow.
While 35 inches of snow is just too much snow. I'm very grateful that we never lost power and are safe and warm in our house while we wait for the plows.
