The Newport Cliff Walk

The first activity we did when we got to Newport, Rhode Island last weekend was go on the Cliff Walk. The views were gorgeous. The path was rough at times.
There were dramatic drops.
We stopped to enjoy the view.
This tunnel framed the sailboat perfectly.
We did half of the Cliff Walk. It took us about 2 hours. By the time we finished, the moon was out.
I'm linking up with Deb Duty Photography for This or That Thursdays.
I'm also linking to Skywatch Friday. Go to Skywatch Friday to see skies from all around the world. You should too.

Love your shots! I used to live in Newport while my husband was in the Navy. My first daughter was born there. Isn't the cliff walk wonderful! Hope your day is great

Great shots.

I'd probably fall down those deadly drops though. I'm clumsy.

Some of those signs (though necessary) crack me up! I love the way the tunnel framed that sail boat!

That looks like a great place to walk and take a few pics. I love the sailboat framed by the tunnel. The sign is a little alarming.
