Floral Foam Craft Prints

I decided to try to make prints with the kids. I brought floral foam blocks from the dollar store. I then cut it into 3 pieces so the kids could make more designs.
We used the end of the paint brush to "carve" the foam. Make the designs thick and simple to show up. Then we used the brush to brush away the loose foam.
We painted the blocks but dipping them in paint worked just as well.
Press the block onto the paper. Viola!
Note: The design needs simple. Caitlin's designs were too complicated. The flamingo she carved would not print. It crushed her little artistic soul. Davey, on the other hand, enjoyed the craft. I used his prints to make thank you cards.
