If you haven't heard, the East coast was hit by a freaky snow storm before Halloween this year. It was a weird sight to see the beautiful fall leaves covered by snow.

Unfortunately, the leaves held more snow and caused lots of trees and tree branches to break. A driver was trying to avoid a fallen branch on the road and lost control and crashed through our fence.

Fortunately, no one was in the back yard. The dog loves to hang out by the fence. No one was hurt including the driver. I'm thankful that no one was hurt. I'm also thankful the heat and power kicked on this morning after having lost it for a day.

I'm hoping the snow melts quickly and there is no more snow till Christmas. Looks like the kids will be wearing snow boots for trick or treating tonight.

Yeah, we've been watching your area on the news with this insane October snow! Crazy! It snowed here a few years ago on Halloween. Ughhh. Boots with a costume is no fun. Hope you warm up soon!
I heard all about this on the news, wow!
We were lucky here in South Jersey and didn't get much of anything except some mix of nasty stuff that didn't accumulate. Glad to hear no one was hurt in that accident & you have heat!
How crazy, snow in October
That is absolutely crazy, and I am SO glad nobody was hurt in that accident.
CRAZY!!!
Oh my! Glad you are all okay. We've been watching your weather on the news! Stay warm!
