I never posted about the kids' Star Wars party we had in May. Better late than never right?
Caitlin refused to wear a Star Wars tee shirt but she did want Princess Leia hair.

I also had to have a Princess Leia 'do.

Davey with his lightsaber. We made lightsabers for everyone at the party. They are pool noodles cut in half and then decorated with black duct tape. They were a big hit. I planned some Jedi training with the sabers and balloons but it was too hard for the littler kids. They just had fun pretending.

The boys in their Star Wars tees.

We had a bounce house. We said the bounce house was a part of the Jedi Training.
All the kids posed with Darth Vader. I cropped this one so no else's kids are in it. I sent the one with everyone in it as the thank you card.

Chewbacca cupcakes. Directions are
here.

I was only going to make the Chewbacca cupcakes but Caitlin insisted we have some Princess Leia cupcakes. I found the instructions
here. They were a big hit. With a cupcake and 2 oreos, how could they not be a hit?
Birthday kids.

I love this pose.

Hope all their wishes come true.

The whole family in Star Wars gear.

We had Darth Vader party masks for all the kids. Everyone had fun being Darth.

Darth Grandpa and Darth K.

There were lots of lightsaber fights but since the sabers were made from pool noodles no harm was done.
