This totally cracks me up. My husband grew up in a place that always had a lot of snow & when they would lose their power his mom would take everything out of the freezer & fridge & bury it outside in the snow. She would also make them "ice cream" by mixing snow, milk & some vanilla & sugar for them. This totally puts me in awe as I grew up in So.CA & have no clue how to "rough it" :)
