Never before have we had to shovel the roof but with 30 plus inches of snow and ice, it became necessary.

Here in Texas we only had ice, but it's kept us all at home for two days running so far. I do NOT envy the idea of shoveling the roof. Thanks for sharing...I look forward to reading your entries. Stay warm!

We have never shoveled the roof either. Maybe we should?

I remember a winter when we had to shovel our roof...not fun! All these snow pictures are making me really thankful that I've put my midwestern days behind me.

Wow! That is just complete craziness! I cannot imagine getting snow, especially that much snow. Shoveling snow is one thing we will never have to worry about, unless that is we move, but I am guessing that will never happen.

Wow, wow, wow! We didn't get nearly that much, but I'm thinking I should check the flat roof of our potting shed now. Wowza!

Wow a yard of snow on the roof, I'm sure you are right to clear it off, that's a ton of weight perhaps you can turn it into an igloo addition :)
Happy WW

Careful on the slipping and sliding on the roof please! :-) We have friends who live near Boston, MA and a few weeks ago their ceiling in kitchen and dining area caved in from the weight of all the snow and ice and moisture seeping up under all the eaves etc??!! What a mess! Happy WW to all
