Bowling Date

We took advantage of Dave working from home and the kids being in school and went bowling at 9am. We definitely were a little rusty since we go bowling once every couple of years. It was fun. Dave and I get competitive when playing any sort of game. We played two games. We each won a game. I think we will go back to the bowling alley soon to determine the "champion."

Another bonus of bowling at 9 am is you feel like a spring chicken. We were the youngest people in the alley by about 20 years.
Being competitve with my husband makes me happy. Be sure to go Leigh vs Laundry to see more photos that are bound to make you happy.

This is date 41 out of 52 for us. Go to Simply Modern Mom to join in on the fun. Simply Mom is no longer posting weekly dates but I still want to finish the project.

LOL! I do that with my husband, too. We used to go bowling a lot before kids (we even have our own shoes!)... We're pretty even when it comes to bowling. Hmmm, we have to arrange to get a game again soon. :)

I really am happy to hear someone else who likes being competitive with a husband. I love it! Sadly, he usually wins.

I love that! Bowling on a weekday at 9am! You probably had the place to yourself and I know I personally need to take some kind of heavy object and hurl it at something. There's a solid chance I might try this out :)

a bowl-off is definitely a must to determine the ultimate champion!

We love bowling. My husband usually kicks my tail in real bowling, but when it comes to Wii bowling, I'm the champ - not sure if that counts, but I take a win any way I can get one :)

My husband loves to bowl, and he is good at it.

Me? Not so much...

We love to go bowling, but we tend to stick to home and do it on the Wii. :) Looks like you had a great time!

that is such a good idea to have a morning date - I don't think I can get my husband's nose out of his computer ever though!

Bowling is so much fun. My husband tends to take it too seriously though. I love the bowling alley food ;)

Fun- my son is part of a kids league here in town. You never know when that skill will come in handy one day. :)

So much fun to go bowling!! I always have a great time even though I rarely bowl over 100.
