They Are Taking Over!

This was the second year I have grown cucumbers. The first year I brought the seedlings and they promptly died. This year I threw some seeds in the ground and they are taking over the whole garden. The cucumber plants are climbing the tomato cages and the fence. Definitely need to plant them somewhere else next year.

Despite the cucumbers taking over the small garden, we are still getting lots of tomatoes and our first cucumber. Looks like there will be plenty cucumbers soon.

If you want to see some amazing gardens, go to Feet Off the Table for Monday Garden Club.

OH I hope nine do as well! We planted one blasted pumpkin seedling and it is taking over the entire backyard and creeping into the cucumbers!

Ugh. I hate gardening. But I love having friends who are gardeners. Can I come and pick something? ;)

Funny how it changes from year to year like that!

yum! I love fresh garden veggies. I learned the hard way last year just how much space cucumbers need. This year I have zucchini taking over.

Crazy cucumbers!! Glad the garden is going well in spite of the cucumber invasion.

It must be nice to eat from your own garden. After I'm sure I can feed the kids and possibly perfect keeping my plants alive, I may go for a garden. LOL.
