My New Weight Loss Weapon


This is my new cell phone. Before I had the Droid, my phone didn't do anything but text and make calls. I'm so excited to use the fitness apps like the diet tracker by Spark People. I have been using it on my computer but having access to it while out will make recording my calorie intake so much easier/less excuses to not track calories. There is also an app that will calculate how far I run and even calculate my speed. There are tons of other fun apps to play with too.

This week was weird. I did the 30 Day Shred and 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer twice. I gardened vigorously for an hour pulling up roots and planting new plants. That is a slow week for me. I didn't get to run at all. But I lost 3 lbs. this week. Interesting huh? I'm wondering what that means. Have I been doing too much activity and having too few calories? Or am I just tracking better with my new phone. Or is it just Mother Nature? I guess I'll see what happens next week, when I'm more active and tracking calories well.

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement last week. I'm still planning on getting my thyroid checked and seeing a nutritionist.

I have the 30-Day Shred and I managed 2 weeks... then stopped. I might just have to take it out and start all over! Thanks for the reminder!
