Anyway, we have made our summer fun list for this summer. I did it last year and Caitlin loved knowing their were fun things to do everyday. She also loved checking off items on the list. They are mostly simple pleasures of summer like running through sprinklers and getting ice cream from the truck. We are planning another trip to Sesame Place. We are also taking both kids to see Toy Story 3 in the theater. It will be Davey's first time going to the theater. He loved the first two movies so much I think he will actually sit still. *Fingers crossed* We are also going to try camping. I'm not crazy so we are trying it in the backyard. If the kids sleep through the night in the tent, we will attempt going somewhere. *Fingers crossed again*

Oh! I absolutely LOVE this idea. I may have to borrow it. ;) We are headed North at some point to visit family = NY & ME. I think there would be a bunch of check boxes if I include stuff we'll do up there! Thanks for sharing!
What a lovely list, look forward to seeing your photographs of each event as you do them. We are all excited about Toy Story 3 too.....
Gotta get thru the last 2 weeks of school first but we're all ready to work on our summer list. Looks like you all are going to have big FUN!
I love that you have milkshakes on the list :D sign me up for summer at your place!!
What a great idea! Let's see...when summer FINALLY starts (we have 2 more weeks of school), I'm doing two beach trips, some napping and LOTS of reading!
ooooo, I like this list especially the one about running through the sprinklers. Enjoy doing all that stuff.
I used to make lists like that too. I love that you have check boxes! I want to pick some fruit too. May I join you?
I love your list, too!
It was so interesting to me to see what the kids came up with, and less work for me trying to figure out what to do to entertain them :)
Hi, I love this topic! I'm writing in a similar vein ("only 4 weeks til Labor Day")for the shared blog at REI.com. Could I display your image of the summer fun list and display it in my blog post? It's a great illustration of the topic and a great complement to another one I have.
Thanks for considering it,
Kelly
