We love the If (Questions for the Game of Life) book. We have read all the questions in the book already so I hopped on the computer and searched for similar conversation starting questions. I copied and pasted a bunch from different websites. Some questions were fun like, "If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which show would you pick?" I picked Friends and David picked Seinfeld. Both are our favorite shows. We discovered we both would be willing to eat a bowl of live crickets for $40,000. We also hope we could drink some booze before hand to make it easier. I was surprised by Dave's answer on what he likes to see me dressed in. I was expecting lingerie but he said he loves my jean capri pants and a specific green T shirt that I own. Who knew he was playing such close attention to my clothes. The last question neither of us understood but got a good laugh out of it. Do you understand this question "Why is it that your greatest hobby is to fight with me and scold me?" That question was taken from an English as a second language website. Maybe the question didn't translate correctly.
This was a fun date that took very little time to plan. We had a lot of interesting and fun conversation. Hopefully we will get our outdoor date soon.
This is date 15 out of 52 for us. Go to Simply Modern Mom to join in on the fun.
I'm excited to see the first tomatoes of this season. I also love the smell of tomato plants.
Be sure to go Leigh vs Laundry to see more photos that are bound to make you happy.

Sounds like a fun date!
Oh how exciting tomatoes. There is nothing like fresh ones right off the vine!
Never grown a tomato plant, thought about it, just haven't! Wonder what Anders would say he liked me wearing most of all?
I love tomatoes! I make hubby grow some in our garden every summer, even though I am the only one who eats them!
Ahahaha! Tomatoes are one of the LEAST happy things I can think of. I HATE them - always have, always will. The fact that my parents used to enjoy torturing me every summer by making me eat an entire tomato from the garden pretty much sealed the deal.
So, while your tomatoes didn't make me all that happy today, I'm happy you're happy with them. Also, I'm happy to learn about the "If" book. I hadn't heard of it. And frankly, The Man & I could use a little help coming up with things to talk about these days. He hates tomatoes too, but we've pretty much exhausted that subject;p
Tomatoes, Yay!
Tomatoes, Yay!
What great questions!
I imagine we would have picked the very same shows, either that or How I met your Mother. :)
yummy tomatoes
That sounds like so much fun. The hubs and I are working on getting our more for date nights. Next week my kids will be out of town for 4 days! We are going to take full advantage of that!
I had a tomato sandwich for lunch...and yes, homegrown from my home. I love the smell of tomato plants too.
I just got a topsy turvy and I have grand plans for the tomatoes that I intend to grow. Homemade Bruschetta-yum!
Our family loves that book too! It is so much fun.
Oh, your baby tomatoes are so precious! We don't have enough sun to grow veggies, which is a shame, because we do have the room.
I'm going to have to check out that book. Makes me curious what my husband would say. You're doing much better one your dates that I am. We tried for once a month, so far we've had three this year.
Just wanted to say that I really enjoy your blog and I'm a new follower! Found you through WW!

Sounds like you guys have a good time together on your dates. I'm not much of a tomato eater but I do like to fry the green ones. (It's a southern thing.)
