Butterflies, Dinner, and a Movie

Photobucket

We went to a butterfly release this weekend. It was not sunny so the butterflies hung around longer, which was nice.

Be sure to go Leigh vs Laundry to see more photos that are bound to make you happy.

I realized that Dave and I had not been out of the house for a date since mid April. I asked my parents to babysit and expected to book them in a couple of weeks. I was pleasantly surprised that they could babysit this Saturday. They get extra points for babysitting while Davey is potty training.

We went out to eat at a steak restaurant that a friend recommended. We always seem to go to the same places. It is nice to branch out a little. The food was delicious. It is always nice to go out to a restaurant without having to chase children or referee. We were able to have nice conversations without being interrupted or having to censor topics. It was wonderful.

We also went to see the movie Get Him to the Greek. It was really funny. If you like Russell Brand's wacky sense of humor, you'll like this movie. If you offend easily, then you probably should skip this flick.

This is date 16 out of 52 for us. Go to Simply Modern Mom to join in on the fun.

We saw that movie over the weekend. That seen in Vegas with the drugs and the fur wall and screaming and running from Puff Daddy was classic.

I might have a crush on Russell Brand.

I love the Butterfly shot! My granddaughter's bloggie name is Butterfly because at her No More Chemo party, we released butterfly balloons. Every time I see one I think how lucky we are to have her with us.

I love reading about your date nights. We too have not been OUT for a date for awhile. Maybe I can drag him to Twilight in a couple of weeks.

A butterfly release sounds cool.

*Love* the butterfly picture! Our zoo has a butterfly exhibit over the summer and I could spend my entire day there I think, it's so peaceful!

Lovely pretty photo.

Lucky you have a childfree Saturday (I share your potty training pain!). Didn't know there was a new russell brand film out. I love him - he used to have a radio show here on a Saturday night - however he did something a bit daft and got the boot. Haven't seen him on many things lately and I miss him - a dose on film would be good.
