Beautiful Beach Day

Anyone know what kind of bird this is?

Go to Skywatch Friday to see skies from all around the world.

I think that is a cormorant. We have birds like these here in Florida Gulf Coast.

I also guess that it is a cormorant. It seems to be standing guard on the rocks!!!

Holds its head like a heron, but I'd go with Tara R. She always knows best!

This is Double-crested Cormorant, very common in North America.
