That is So Penis!
Our friends' 4 year old daughter was taught the correct anatomical terms for the genitals. Her parents wanted her to know the right terms but also did not want her to talk about them all the time. She started to use the word penis as an exclamation. If she didn't like something, she would say "That is so penis!" So her parents told her if she continued to use the term that way, she would get a drop of Tabasco sauce on her tongue. She didn't like that. She then replaced her favorite phase of "That is so penis" with "That is so Tabasco sauce."

well, YAY for her parents for teaching her the correct terms for body parts. I think it's silly when parents make up different names.
My kids know the correct terms too but I don't know if they would ever think to use those words like that. She is pretty creative though b/c she probably knows that word is shocking to some people.
ALL children should grow up knowing the real names for genitals
Some folks might think they are both hot and also some folks might not be keen on either either!!!
I liked her first slogan better - I may start using it at work :D

I don't know if I'd be able to keep a straight face if one of my girls said that! She's a mini-genius for changing it to tobasco sauce!

I've decided to go the 'correct name' route as well. Last night though, my daughter grabbed herself and said, "Oh, my penis hurts!!!!". LOL. I think it's because she has 2 brothers and doesn't hear the "v" word very often. (BTW-no it didn't. She just wanted to see if she could get some Desitin like her younger brother).
