Dave is planning our dates this month. I'm excited that I don't have to plan them and to see what he comes up with. Dave's first planned date was a Wii date. We played EA Active. We did an island challenge. It was really fun to compete against him. It definitely brought my competitive side out. I beat him on all the challenges except the boxing. Next we played his favorite game, Beatles Rock Band. He kicked my butt. After all the game playing was over, we watched The Amazing Race and ate a veggie platter. It was a really fun and healthy date. In fact we are going to play again tonight.

This is date 5 out of 52 for us. Go to Simply Modern Mom to join in on the fun.

Fantastic idea - hanging out and getting fit together.
I love the EA active. AND we just got Wii Resort so add that to your list. :)
And even MiniMac plays Beatles Rock Band. Let's have a "Band Off". LOL.
I like this idea of taking turns planning dates! Really fun!!!
I'm loving the Amazing Race!!!
That sounds like a date night at my house! We don't have EA Active, but my husband is "Rock Band" crazy.
52 dates? Holy cow. The hubs and I need to get on it!
That sounds like fun!
looks like fun!
Wii play-time was the focus of a girls nite not too long ago. We all did the fitness ages and then found out the next day that the 62 year old teacher in the baby room had us all beat by a good 25 years in the Wii fit age department.
Sounds like a great date night!
doesn't it always seem that guys are naturals at all that guitar stuff - I'd be a total spaz - you looked very much under control in the photo - guessing it looked better than it sounded :D
Sounds like fun to me!
i've been looking at the EA sport game. it it any good? does it help you get a workout? that does sound like such a fun night! fun to have a healthy competition too. thanks for sharing! see you next week.

not had a go with the Wii rock - looks fun (but more electrical stuff to store!). The veggie platter sounds good - hope you dipped it into some nice creamy cheese dip ;) xo

Your hubs was in the zone, huh!?! =)
How fun! I'm saving the Wii idea for when it's my turn to plan again...
We are definitely going to have to schedule a Wii date night! I love the pictures.
