A Martha Stewart Christmas. Not!

This post is part of the fun of Not Me Monday. It is a time to admit to somethings you might want to forget. MckMama is our host at My Charming Kids . Go over there to see what other people are not doing this week too.
Davey does not have his own plate of Christmas cookies because no one else should be subjected to eating them. He is not totally gross.
I did not find Christmas ornaments all over the house. Davey does not take them off the tree and bring them to me and sing "Merry Christmas." I did not find Cinderella beheaded.
My Christmas tree is not half decorated.
I did not place the sugar cookies too close together and create giant snowman cookies. That was totally planned. Not!
I do not have an explanation for this mess.
I did not accidentally leave potatoes in the car. They did not freeze. When they thawed, they did not make this sticky brown mess.

Despite all these things that did not happen, we did not have a wonderful Christmas.

Oh No, the potato thing sucks! I just hope you didn't have to run back out to the store to buy more. I went grocery shopping last Tuesday and the place was a madhouse! I'm just glad I remembered everything in one trip!

Oh those potatoes do not look good. Hope the smell wasn't too bad. And poor Cinderella. We've had to fix several ornaments too.

Oh yuck, frozen potatos! I did not freeze all my apples, celery, bread, and sweet potatos by leaving them in the porch! Nope not me :)

At least those snowman cookies are festive!! Your efforts were better than mine would have been. :)

Frozen potatoes, however. Yuck. Throw them out before they start smelling like decomposing feet.

I say kudos to you for even MAKING snowman cookies! :)

Loved reading your blog...and is it really a secret from your family? Mine is basically because no one in my family keeps up with it! :)

Happy New Year! Paige

At least your potatoes didn't sprout under your dishwasher.

Wow! Potatoes freeze if left in the car in winter? I guess that's anywhere but AZ! They would just boil.

I totally understand having only a half decorated tree. I thought my soon to be 4 year old was old enough to understand NOT to get into the tree, but I was very wrong. Between the boy and the cat I'll be investing in plastic ornaments for next year!

Blessings,
Michelle

Who had it in for Cinderella? What did she ever do to deserve that?! ;)

Funny! I never really liked Cinderella anyway...how does some one be that good all the time anyways? She probably really ticked some one off with all that perfectly sized foot stuff...

Your tree looks like mine did. Then I ended up looping beads on it and called it good. My sugar cookies looked like yours but probably tasted much worse and he looks like he's totally enjoying his cookie adventure!
