I have been a bad blogger lately. I'm trying to make it to all your blogs to comment soon. I am not posting a Then and Now Thursday today. Things have been hectic around here since the dog attack. If you are posting one feel free to link it in the comments. I should be back to posting next week hopefully.
Maximus is getting the drains taken out of his wounds today. He seems to be feeling better. He is back to stealing food off the counter. Now if only I could get the images of the attack out of my head and that sick feeling out of my stomach.

Glad to hear he's doing better. I'm sure he's getting lots of belly rubs and treats.
Having had an old dog attacked by pit bulls and having fended off several other attacks, I totally share your hatred for that breed.
Report them and have them put down.
While there are some "good" ones and some responsible owners, the breed attracts crackhead owners and the breed definitely has a tendency to attack children & other dogs.
Sorry to vent, but I get so angry/PTSD every time this happens.

I agree with Julie. Take care of your puppy. He needs you. I'm also glad to hear that he is getting better.
