Ticked Off Tuesday

Have you seen this commercial? It is for the drug Latisse that claims it will help your eyelashes grow longer. Sound good right? Did you see the side effects? The drug can cause brown spots on your eyelashes that may or may not be permanent. OK I probably could deal with brown spots. It can also change the color of your iris to brown which is permanent. How badly must someone want longer eyelashes to risk changing their eye color? This commercial/drug is ticking me off this Tuesday. What is ticking you off? Feel free to vent in the comment section or leave a link.

Wow. I've never heard of this. Those side effects scare me. Not sure I'd want anything to happen to my eyes.

Yeah I saw that commercial too..although, I guess if I wanted to use that it wouldn't make much of a difference to me!

I wonder how it changes your eye color..amazing really when you think about it.

I actually thought the commercial was a parody until I watched it all the way through. I remember hearing about a glaucoma or macular degeneration medication with that side effect that they were trying to market for cosmetic purposes..must be it.
I think it's just freaking getting out of hand when women are resorting to growing their eyelashes for pete's sake...save your money for something more important and just use mascara and/or falsies...sheesh!

Have a good one!

I couldn't believe this commercial when I saw it, either. Brown spots on the eyelids and permanent discoloration of the iris? I figure it must actually be some kind of dye, that just makes the lashes look thicker, longer because their darker? No thanks.
