Ticked Off Tuesday-Caillou, Need I Say More?

If you are the parent of a pre-schooler, you may be familar with PBS's show Caillou. If you are, you know my pain. If you haven't watched it, avoid it. Trust me. Caillou is one of the most whiny preschoolers ever. He complains about everything. The worse part is when Caitlin watches Caillou, she then seems to adopt his mannerisms. That is something that you do not want to encourage. After hearing Caitlin's best Caillou impression, I decided that Caillou would not be recorded anymore. (We record all of the kid's programming so that it easily available.) Caitlin was a little upset that Caillou was no longer on the television but she got over it soon enough. Then the grandparents babysat and found him on YouTube. I think the computer is going to break soon...

Feel free to share what is ticking you off this Tuesday in the comments or leave a link.

Also thank you to everyone who left advice on the preschool decision yesterday. Internet friends are great for helping making decisions or just confirming your choice. We are going to switch her to the new school.

I cannot stand Caillou. He is so whiny and just not what you want your kids to see. I'm so surprised he's still on tv.

I have lost tolerance for all preschool shows lately. I usually sit in the kitchen while Caillou is on...fortunately, he has never seen Barney!

fortunately Caillou is just a fleeting memory! Hey, I was at the Honda dealer on one of your previous Ticked Off Tuesdays- and now here I am again!!! If they don't get to the bottom of the problem once and for all I will be very ticked off...

Bless you!!! I thought I was the only one! My older boy watched it when he was small, and we always noticed the change in behavior. My youngest doesn't know it exists! I am delighted. ;)

He is seriously whiny. I thought that maybe my kids could get good lessons (usually about perseverance and learning to understand the world doesn't revolve around them)...but I can't get past the whine either. As IF I didn't already have enough of that in my life.

Funny! I always thought his parents were saints. Or is that enablers? It's been too long... I've forgotten. LOL.
