- We haven't had to turn the air conditioning on.
- The kids are getting to use their raincoats and rain boots.
- I really make the kids' day if I let them splash in puddles.
- The kids long sleeved shirts and pants are getting lots of wear before the outgrow them.
- We are inside a lot so the house is cleaner. It is hard to ignore the mess if you are inside all day.
- We are reading lots of library books.
- We are saving money on sunscreen.
- Bubbles don't pop as quickly on wet grass.
- We are finding things to do inside. (Fun at the mall, library, kids museum, etc.)
- I haven't killed the garden yet. I usually forget to water. No need to worry lately.

Looking on the Bright Side
The weather around here has been pretty wet for a couple of weeks. We have had breaks of sunshine but overall it has been a bit gloomy. I wanted to think about the positive things. So here is my list of things that are good about this wet and cool weather:

We've had spotty weather too but today is the first official day of summer for us. So far so good but I'm going to refer to your list when we have to be inside.

I can only dream about not using the AC. It's 100 degrees here!
Adorable picture. My daughter would love that umbrella!
My Riley is nine, and she still LOVES to pull out an umbrella and play in the rain. Must be why every umbrella I buy doesn't last long at all. Ugggh!
I wish we could do a rain dance down here...our water bill is OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!
thanks for visiting my blog!
Love the list...especially b/c it is sooooo hot here in GA! No A/C??? That's priceless!
After a very cool, wet spring, we finally have summer. I hope summer arrives in your neighborhood soon too!
I think a list of the positive things is definitely the way to go. I've thought about doing these from time to time...maybe we should start our own meme? LOL.
