I am a stay at home mom to two lovely children. I am married to a wonderfully eccentric man. I love staying at home to raise my kids although it is much harder to remain sane than I ever envisioned. I failed doing Photo Project 365 Challenge but may try again soon. If you know my parents or in-laws don't mention this blog. These are the Days.

It doesn't matter if the house is clean or if there is work to do. When the kids are playing outside, all seems well in the world. They are happy, dancing, and playing with sunshine on their faces. Watching them play is the view I like the best.
The 10,000 Maniacs lyrics seem perfect to summarize how I feel when the kids and I are playing outside.

These are days you’ll remember
Never before and never since, I promise
Will the whole world be warm as this
And as you feel it,
You’ll know it’s true
That you – you are blessed and lucky
It’s true – that you
Are touched by something
That will grow and bloom in you.

That song is perfect, isn't it:) Who knew how timeless those lyrics could be from the good old college days, to all the weddings, to now watching the kids play outside...We are blessed and lucky!!

The lyrics fit your sentiments perfectly! Trust me, those days go all too fast. Hard for me to believe my son is 27 and married. Whew!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Raising our two children were definitely the best years of our lives. They go too quickly though! Keep enjoying! I love your photos & I love that Mom attitude:)

So true. I just watched the season finale of Grey's Anatomy and while it seems silly to get a lesson from a tv show, I'm embracing each day and enjoying all my blessings.

Beautiful post and I wholeheartedly agree. Watching my daughter play is one of my most favorite things ever. Fabulously fitting lyrics.
