It DOES add to the photo....I usually hate those wires too...this shot is beautiful...the I like the soft sky color ...and the dark and light layers...
We can never get away with the wires I guess. What's important is we capture the great changing sky.
I have the same problem in Sydney. Great skywatch.
I'm usually avoiding them too, but I do have a handful of shots that were really enhanced by those dramatic, silhouetted lines. Nice shot!

I love the colors and yes, the lines make a great addition. Good to know someone else has trouble avoiding them besides me!
That is pretty, and how the powerlines make a Z shape. I have never heard of "skywatch friday" but it is pretty!
Nice photo. I do the same all the time. See such beautiful skies and there are a bunch of wires in the way. Doesn't hurt this photo at all though.

Simply gorgeous. I feel the same way about snapping electrical wires and telephone poles in my photos, too.

I too am constantly battling with the electrical wires around here. I can't wait for the switch to all undergraound cable.
I agree... exepcially since the wire isn't perfectly straight. Looks great
I don't mind bits and pieces in the photo. Sometimes it can add a lot of interest. And I like your 'z' shape the wires make. And it helps of course that it's against a beautiful sky.
