Skywatch Friday

We have been enjoying pretty blue skies lately. I was enjoying the spring weather and looked up and saw this. If you click to enlarge you can see the small bird chasing the large bird (probably a hawk). The little guy was persistent and drove the large bird away.Go to Skywatch Friday to see skies from all around the world.

Great picture. I've seen smaller birds chase the big ones away. I've wondered what the deal is.

My hubby always complains that the little birds should pick on someone their own size:)

That is a cool shot! Good for the little bird. He put the big bird in it's place!

Wonder if the large bird was having a secret laugh?!

Being in the right spot at the right time! Wonderful shot. I see these all the time and wonder why the hawks would put up with this treatment. Looks like a crow chasing. The large picture is great too. Thanks for visiting and I'm glad I came.

Whenever I try to get a shot like this, it hardly ever works out. The light's never right, my camera's not ready etc. So well done for ths one. And I hope your son will forgive you when he's older for the potty shot ;)

Even among birds a mother can become a lion when her brood is threatened.
