Go to Skywatch Friday to see skies from all around the world.**********************************************************************************
Here's the Friday 5.
1. I worked as a real estate agent for a couple of years. I once went to a house showing in a really "bad" neighborhood. (As agents we were not suppose to describe neighborhood as good or bad but trust me it was bad.) After I showed the couple this multi-family house. They wanted to put an offer in on it. Yay! As we are getting ready to leave, a tenant in the house shot at someone on the street. It was really scary and surreal. The most surreal part of it was the couple still put in an offer on the house, it was accepted, and I had to go back there several more times. The agent selling the house wouldn't even go there.
2. My favorite color is blue. You can tell when you see my house. Our kitchen, dining room, and office are all painted various shades of blue. We probably would have painted more blue if it didn't seem weird.
3. I never had a pet growing up. My mom didn't want to take care of anything else. She offered to get us fish but they didn't appeal to me at all. After I got back from my honeymoon, my husband and I got a yellow lab pup that week. I love Maximus but now I understand why my mom didn't want a dog.
4. When I was pregnant I craved red meat. It is weird because I don't really like it much normally. I had sloppy joes once a week when I was pregnant with Caitlin. I haven't had them since.
5. Maximus seems to know I was pregnant before I knew. I used to walk him before work. Suddenly he got very protective. He wouldn't walk if anyone was near us. He would stop and sit and stare at them till they were out of sight.

Lovely kites, especially against that sky.
What a lovely sky! I love the pink kites. Very cute against the lovely clear skies.
Maximus sounds like a really smart dog! I love yellow labs too. We're planning to get one soon. Hopefully. :)
My SkyWatch Friday is here. I made another blog for my photos.
Thanks so much for visiting Tales From The Mom Side.
Love this photo...the kites are so beautiful! I love your Friday 5, especially the fact that Maximus knew you were pregnant before you did. Very sensitive dog:) You have a very beautiful family too!
I haven't seen kites in the skies for some time. Great pic! Happy SWF, and thanks for commenting on my post. The sun has come out the last couple of days, but the temps are still cold.
Nice skies and great kites. I thought they were some kind of bird at first! lol
This is a beautiful shot of the kites, i enlarged it and it looks much better
Kites are so much fun! I wish we could see some kites in our skies! Hopefully this spring and summer!
Lovely sky and kites. I also posted kites for last week's SWF only it was not on a clear sky like yours.
Love the colors of the kites against the sky!
A little cold here for kite flying (near zero this morning). But come June, kite fliers will be on the beaches enjoying the warm weather.

Pretty skies!
Scary story about that house though... I can't believe those people still bought it after that shooting!
I totally craved red meat when I was pregnant. I especially wanted burgers. I still have the love...but it's less of a craving now.
We're getting a dog after we move (who knows exactly when that will be). Should I be nervous?
Looks like mega insects, fun to see.
I just read a bunch of your past posts. What adorable children you have! For just a quick second when I first looked at your photo I thought it was a pink heron. tee-hee
Great Skywatch picture! Thanks for visiting Liege City Daily Photo!
Love your kite photo.
I have a dog named Maximus but he's a cowdog- aussie and border collie. He's a Max-imus Dog-amus amongst us! He really is maxed out most of the time. He loves to do things and wants to work and play and eat and slobber and everything in a huge way! Yours?
I've heard stories about dogs sensing cancer in their owners before they know they had it.

I like the photo, but found your list of 5 really interesting. I have often wondered how realty agents go into some of these tough areas of town. Of course having someone shooting is really terrifying. Sad that some families can only afford to live there... Michelle
These kites seem to have flown away from their lines. Great picture!
Lovely photo for SWF. Love to watch kites flying in the sky. Have a nice weekend.
Nice shot...wondered what they were at first. I lost a box kite when I was little....mortified!
