My son did not lock himself in his bedroom when I was helping my daughter in the bathroom. I did not panic when I realized he was locked in. I really did not realize that his door could lock. I did not call my husband at work to try to figure out how to break him out. The lock was really not a simple push a nail into the whole and it unlocks. I did not unscrew the doorknob and then break the lock. I did not start to cry when I looked through the whole in the door to see my son lying on his belly covering his ears crying. It did not take a couple of minutes to break him out. I did not think about taking a photo of him through the door hole for Not Me Monday.

Yikes! That must have been so scary for you both. The picture would have been classic though.
Oh my gosh! How frightening for everyone! Minutes must have seemed like hours. I'm sure it was wonderful to have him snuggled in your arms.
I wouldn't have only THOUGHT of getting the picture through the door hole...I would have taken it. So you're one better than me :D
My little girl locked herself in the bedroom once and it broke my heart that for over an hour she sat in there and said "Please mommy. I want out... "
I'm glad you were able to get the knob off and get him out!! how scary.
Oh my...My son and his cousin did that in the bathroom and they had to take the whole door down to get them out... we laugh about it know, but at the time it was really scary.
Ahhhh, breaking your own son out. Way to go Mommy! =0)
And yea, I'd have grabbed the camera and gotten that shot through the hole in the door. What's 10 more seconds....
ha ha ha
Happy Monday!
And I did not laugh.
I remember the phone call from my wife when that happened to our oldest son for the first time! All's well that ends well ...
It is always scary when something like that happens. I'm glad it all worked out OK.
Oh my! Glad you were able to get him out okay. How scary that must have been.
Happy Not Me! Monday.
Haha it's amazing - when you have a blog you see EVERYTHING as a photo opportunity. :)
Happened to me too when they were little. But we were living in an apartment building back then so the superintendent came to rescue us.
Poor fella, poor Mommy!! I'm glad everything turned out okay. :)
