I am the keeper of all things. That is according to Dave. I am suppose to know where everything in our house is at all times. Where is the tape? I should know. Is this a male versus female thing? Is it a stay at home mom thing? It drives me nuts. I have to look just like Dave should to find stuff. Why can't he look? Augh, just another rant. Is it the same at your house?

My mom and I have had that conversation of how when we ask where something is we (women) get the "I don't know," or "haven't seen it." Period. Stay put. But when HE asks us about something, WE get up and help look for it. My mom and I decided that us women need to practice the male response and however hard it is, restrain ourselves from that oh so natural habit of jumping up and helping. It must be that nature/nurture thing...it's Not just you/your house! Try it now, "Haven't seen it..." How liberating!!
Sucks to your assmar.
Yup yup yup..same thing here. As a matter of fact after he realized we were "out" of this and that, he then ALLOWED me to go grocery shopping. Wasn't that big of him?
Well, yeah, except his questioning is warranted. I am notorious for putting things "back in place" where they have no business being. The timer for the outdoor lights in the bathroom cabinet, extra holiday lights in the underwear drawer...and so on. So I guess the egg is on my face for this one. ;)
Well, usually I do know where it is. What really annoys me is when he asks where something is and I tell him the EXACT location (second dresser drawer, on the left) and he still can't find it! I, of course, go right to it and (surprise!) it's right in front of our eyes! ;D
